This 3-day APAC training event is kindly hosted by the Sri Lanka Accreditation Board (SLAB) in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
It is an introductory/intermediate training course on the use of ISO/IEC 17021-1 and ISO 50003:2014, Energy management systems — Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of energy management systems to accredit certification bodies that provide certification for ISO/IEC 50001:2018, Energy management systems — Requirements with guidance for use. The facilitators will provide insights on how ISO 17021-1 / ISO 50003 accreditation is conducted and participants will be encouraged to share their experiences and ask questions.
The course is for APAC Member accreditation assessment personnel. Initially there will be a limit of 2 participants per APAC member. If, towards the end of the registration period, there is excess capacity an invitation for more APAC Member participants will be made. This invitation may also be extended to personnel of accredited ISO 50003 certification bodies with APAC Member approval. Participants are expected to be familiar with accreditation in accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1, and have a degree of familiarity with ISO 50003.
There are no registration fees to attend this event but participants are to fund their own participation (e.g. travel, accommodation, per diems, etc.).
The maximum number of registrants for this event is 33 persons.
