COURSE REGISTRATIONS NOW CLOSED – MAXIMUM REGISTRATIONS ACHIEVED
This training event will take place on 5-6 October 2023 in Hanoi, Viet Nam, and is for personnel of APAC Members and APAC Evaluators. The event is kindly hosted by the Accreditation Office for Standards Conformity Assessment Capacity (AOSC), Viet Nam.
The event will cover assessment techniques used in accreditation assessments and APAC evaluations, and explore the concept and practical implementation of the ‘risk-based approach’ to accreditation assessment and APAC evaluation planning. Please note that immediately before this training event in Hanoi there will be a 3-day training event at the same venue on Accreditation of Calibration Laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025). For more information on that training course, including registration details, please follow this link.
The facilitators will provide insights on how accreditation techniques and risk-based approaches are used in accreditation body practice and participants will be encouraged to share their experiences and ask questions. Attendees are expected to be APAC Member personnel (assessors, managers, accreditation scheme developers) and APAC Evaluators. It is expected many of the attendees will already be familiar with undertaking accreditation assessments and establishing and maintaining accreditation body management systems.
See the event registration website for more information. It is expected the attendees that undertake this training will share the knowledge gained and the training materials internally with other personnel in their accreditation body.
There is no event registration fee and a lunch will be provided free of charge on the days of the event. However, all travel, accommodation, other meals, per diems, visa fees, travel and health insurance costs, etc. must be paid directly by the attendees or by their accreditation bodies. APAC does not provide funding for attendees at this event. On the registration website (once available) a specific hotel booking form with a discounted room rate (including free breakfast and Wi-Fi) will be made available for registrants to book their accommodation.
Registrants will need to upload evidence that an APAC Member in their economy has approved their participation at this APAC event.
Please note this event is the first APAC accreditation skills-related event, and the second event is a 2-day Technical Writing Skills event scheduled for 6-7 May 2024 in Islamabad, Pakistan. Registrants are welcome to attend either event or both events.
