IN PERSON – Accreditation of Compliance MS (ISO 37301) Certification

March 12th, 2024

This in person training course will take place on 12-14 March 2024 in Colombo and is for APAC Member personnel and APAC Evaluators. The training course is kindly hosted by the Sri Lanka Accreditation Board for Conformity Assessment (SLAB).

The event is about the use of ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 Conformity assessment — Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems — Part 1: Requirements and ISO/IEC TS 17021-13:2021 Conformity assessment — Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems — Part 13: Competence requirements for auditing and certification of compliance management systems to accredit compliance management system certification bodies. Certification bodies provide compliance management system certification to their clients on the basis of ISO 37301:2021 Compliance management systems — Requirements with guidance for use. The course will also cover relevant IAF mandatory documents and relevant guidance from the Accreditation Assessment Practices Group (AAPG).

The facilitators will provide insights on how this type of accreditation is conducted and participants will be encouraged to share their experiences and ask questions. Attendees are expected to be APAC Member personnel (assessors, managers, accreditation scheme developers) that are either undertaking accreditation of this type of certification, or are considering developing an accreditation scheme. It is expected many of the attendees will already be familiar with accreditation of management system and/or product certification bodies.

Please register for this event by 9 February 2024 using the event registration website. A link to this registration website will be provided on this page once it is operational.

Due to the expected high interest in this training event, until further notice only two (2) persons from each APAC Member will be accepted to attend this event. Depending on the numbers registered closer to the date of the event, a further registration round may be made available. It is expected the attendees that undertake this training will share the knowledge gained and the training materials internally with other accreditation body personnel when they return.

There is no event registration fee and a lunch will be provided free of charge on the days of the event. However, all travel, accommodation, other meals, per diems, visa fees, travel and health insurance costs, etc. must be paid directly by the attendees or by their accreditation bodies. APAC does not provide funding for attendees at this event. On the registration website (once available) details of any specific hotel booking arrangements will be made available.

Registrants will need to upload evidence that an APAC Member in their economy has approved their participation in this APAC event.

APAC will update this webpage when the event registration website is completed.
