This training event will take place from 19 to 21 April 2023 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and is for personnel of APAC Members and APAC Evaluators. The event is kindly hosted by the Center for Accreditation (O’ZAKK), Uzbekistan.
The event will cover the use of the new edition of ISO/IEC 17043:2023, Conformity assessment — General requirements for the competence of proficiency testing providers to accredit proficiency testing providers. The event will also include relevant ILAC requirements and ISO/CASCO clarifications.
The facilitators will provide insights on how this type of accreditation is conducted and participants will be encouraged to share their experiences and ask questions. Attendees are expected to be APAC Member personnel (assessors, managers, accreditation scheme developers) that are either undertaking accreditation of proficiency testing providers, or are considering developing this type of accreditation scheme, and APAC Evaluators.
There is no event registration fee and a lunch will be provided free of charge on the days of the event. However, all travel, accommodation, other meals, per diems, visa fees, travel and health insurance costs, etc. must be paid directly by the attendees or by their accreditation bodies. APAC does not provide funding for attendees at this event. On the registration website a specific hotel booking form with a discounted room rate (including free breakfast and Wi-Fi) will be made available for registrants to book their accommodation.
Please register for this event by 17 March 2023 using the event registration website. Currently, only one person per accreditation body may attend. It is expected the attendees that undertake this training will share the knowledge gained and the training materials internally with other personnel in their accreditation body. If you wish to attend, please contact your APAC Member. Registrants will need to upload evidence that an APAC Member in their economy has approved their participation at this APAC event.
