This training event will take place on 22-23 May 2023 in Islamabad, Pakistan, and is for personnel of APAC Members and APAC Evaluators. The event is kindly hosted by the Pakistan National Accreditation Council (PNAC).

The event will cover technical writing for policies, procedures and work instructions, and also include formulation of appropriate accreditation assessment and APAC evaluation findings, nonconformities, comments, opportunities for improvement, etc. Please note that immediately after this training event there will be a 3-day training course at the same venue on accreditation of product certification bodies (ISO/IEC 17065). The facilitators will provide insights on how these types of technical writing skills are used in accreditation body practice and participants will be encouraged to share their experiences and ask questions. Attendees are expected to be APAC Member personnel (assessors, managers, accreditation scheme developers) and APAC Evaluators. It is expected many of the attendees will already be familiar with undertaking accreditation assessments and establishing and maintaining accreditation body management systems.
It is expected the attendees that undertake this training will share the knowledge gained and the training materials internally with other personnel in their accreditation body.
There is no event registration fee and a lunch will be provided free of charge on the days of the event. However, all travel, accommodation, other meals, per diems, visa fees, travel and health insurance costs, etc. must be paid directly by the attendees or by their accreditation bodies. APAC does not provide funding for attendees at this event. On the registration website (once available) a specific hotel booking form with a discounted room rate (including free breakfast and Wi-Fi) will be made available for registrants to book their accommodation.
Registrants will need to upload evidence that an APAC Member in their economy has approved their participation at this APAC event.
Please note this event is the first APAC skills-related event in 2023, the second event is a 2-day Assessment Techniques and Risk-based Approach course scheduled for 5-6 October 2023 in Hanoi, Viet Nam. Registrants are welcome to attend either events or both events.
