This in-person 3-day training event is on how to accredit International Featured Standards (IFS) certification bodies. It is kindly hosted by the National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB), India.
This course specifically focuses on accreditation of certification bodies using ISO/IEC 17065:2012 Conformity assessment — Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services, relevant IAF requirements, ISO/CASCO clarifications, and International Featured Standards (IFS) Food, Broker and PACsecure requirements for certification bodies and accreditation bodies.
The facilitators will provide insights on how this type of accreditation is conducted and participants will be encouraged to share their experiences and ask questions. Attendees are expected to be APAC Member personnel (assessors, managers, accreditation scheme developers) that are either undertaking accreditation of IFS certification, or are considering developing this type of accreditation scheme, and APAC Evaluators.
Please register for this event by 23 May 2025 using the event registration website.
It is expected the attendees that undertake this training will share the training materials and knowledge internally with other personnel in their accreditation body.
Please note that immediately before this event there will be APAC training on accreditation of GLOBALG.A.P. certification from 16-18 June 2025 at the same venue. Further details of that event are available on a separate registration website.
These training events are taking place in the week before the 2025 APAC Annual Meeting that will take place 21-28 June 2025 at the same venue. Details about the APAC Annual Meeting, including the schedule, can be found on the separate registration website. An APAC Member or Affiliate in your economy must provide prior approval before registering for the APAC Annual Meeting.
