This 3-day in-person APAC training course on 15-17 November 2027 is kindly hosted in Colombo by the Sri Lanka Accreditation Board for Conformity Assessment (SLAB). The training course is about accreditation of IT-related management system certification using the following standards:
- ISO/IEC 27006-1:2024 Information security, cybersecurity and privacy protection — Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of information security management systems (ISMS);
- ISO/IEC 20000-6:2017 Information technology — Service management – Part 6: Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of service management systems (ITSMS); and
- ISO/IEC 42006:2025 Information technology — Artificial intelligence — Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of artificial intelligence management systems (AIMS).
The course will also cover relevant IAF requirements, including IAF MD1, MD2, MD4, MD7, MD11, MD12, MD13, MD15, MD17, MD23, MD25, MD28, Global ACI-MRA-006 and any ISO/CASCO clarifications. The facilitators will provide insights on how this type of accreditation is conducted.
Attendees are expected to be APAC Member personnel (assessors, managers, accreditation scheme developers) that are either undertaking accreditation of IT-related management system certification or are considering developing these types of accreditation schemes.
