This 3-day in-person APAC training course is kindly hosted by the Sri Lanka Accreditation Board for Conformity Assessment (SLAB) in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The training course is on the use of the revised edition of ISO/IEC 17024 Conformity assessment — General requirements for bodies operating certification of persons to accredit person certification bodies (note the training course may be using the ISO/IEC FDIS 17024 version of the revised standard). The course will also cover relevant IAF requirements, including IAF MD 4, MD 7, MD 12 and MD 25 and any ISO/CASCO clarifications.
Attendees are expected to be APAC Member personnel (assessors, managers, accreditation scheme developers) that are either undertaking accreditation of person certification bodies or are considering developing this type of accreditation scheme.

Attendees must upload evidence (e.g. letter, copy of email, etc.) that an APAC Member or Affiliate in their economy has approved their attendance at this APAC event. Registrations will close on 4 February 2026.
Due to anticipated high registration interest in this course, at this time each APAC Member and Affiliate may register a maximum of two (2) people to attend. Further places may become available closer to the end of the registration period depending on number of registrants confirmed.
