On 1 January 2026 the Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated became operational. This new organization has taken over the activities previously conducted by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC). APAC is the Global Accreditation Cooperation recognized regional accreditation cooperation for the Asia Pacific region. APAC is the largest recognized regional cooperation in the world.
