This in person training event will take place on 8-10 May 2024 in Islamabad, Pakistan, and is for personnel of APAC Members and APAC Evaluators. The event is kindly hosted by the Pakistan National Accreditation Council (PNAC).
The event will cover the use of ISO/IEC 17065:2012 Conformity assessment — Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services to accredit product certification bodies, including relevant IAF requirements and ISO/CASCO clarifications. There will be a specific focus on accredited GLOBALG.A.P. certification.
The facilitators will provide insights on how this type of accreditation is conducted and participants will be encouraged to share their experiences and ask questions. Attendees are expected to be APAC Member personnel (assessors, managers, accreditation scheme developers) that are either undertaking accreditation of food safety certification, or are considering developing this type of accreditation scheme, and APAC Evaluators. It is expected many of the attendees will already be familiar with accreditation of product certification.
Please register for this event by 12 April 2024 using the event registration website.
It is expected the attendees that undertake this training will share the knowledge gained and the training materials internally with other personnel in their accreditation body.
There is no event registration fee and a lunch will be provided free of charge on the days of the event. However, all travel, accommodation, other meals, per diems, visa fees, travel and health insurance costs, etc. must be paid directly by the attendees or by their accreditation bodies. APAC does not provide funding for attendees at this event. Please see the event registration website for all further details.
Registrants will need to upload evidence that an APAC Member in their economy has approved their participation at this APAC event.
Please note that immediately before this training event there will be a 2-day training event at the same venue on technical writing skills for accreditation body assessors and APAC Evaluators. For more information on that training course, including registration details, please follow this link.
